Plans

How Heading pricing works. Free snapshots, per-property plans, and the agency add-on

Heading bills per property, not per team. Each property is either free or on its own paid plan, and a team's paid properties roll up into one subscription with one invoice. For current prices, see the pricing page in the app. This page explains the structure.

Free: the snapshot report

Every property starts free. A free property gets a snapshot report: a full-depth, point-in-time read of its AI search visibility (visibility scores, per-prompt results, sources, competitors, gaps, and sentiment), built from a 20-prompt starter portfolio.

  • Free data is a snapshot of a single day, not a time series. There are no over-time charts or trends on a free property.
  • A free property can hold up to 50 active prompts, so you can build the portfolio you'd want tracked before you pay for it.
  • A team can hold up to 2 free properties at a time.
  • The snapshot report has a public share link you can send to anyone.

See Your free snapshot report for the full walkthrough.

Upgrading a property turns on daily tracking: every active prompt is checked every day across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview, building the time series behind trends, comparisons, and the full tracking surfaces.

All paid plans track the same platforms. The difference is how many prompts a property can monitor:

PlanActive prompt quota
Starter50
Growth100
Scale250

Each property picks its own plan. A portfolio can mix a Scale flagship with Starter side-brands and free snapshots.

Agency add-on

The agency add-on is a single fixed-monthly subscription at the team level. It turns on white-labeling: your own domain, logo, colors, and product name on every client-facing surface. See White-label setup.

The add-on does not include monitoring. Client properties are billed with the per-property plans above.

One subscription, one invoice

A team has one Stripe subscription. Each paid property is a line item on it, named after the property (and its client, for agencies), so the invoice reads as a per-client bill.

Only team owners can change billing. See Manage your subscription.
